The Quantum i12
Onboarding
Implementation Playbook

A Clear and Controlled Path to Implementation
Introducing a new colour system requires careful evaluation and validation.
The Quantum i12 Implementation Playbook provides a structured onboarding process designed to ensure compatibility with existing formulations, colourants, and production environments.
Each phase builds on the previous one, allowing the system to be tested, evaluated, and introduced in a controlled and predictable way.
A Phased and Structured Process
The onboarding process follows five clearly defined phases.
Each phase confirms performance, compatibility, and operational readiness before moving forward.
This approach reduces risk and allows organisations to adopt the system with confidence.
Introduction & Discovery
The process begins with an introduction to the Quantum i12 system and an initial review of the organisation’s current setup.
This includes:
- product portfolio
- existing colour systems
- production and tinting processes
The goal is to understand how colour is currently created and identify where the Single Base System can be introduced.
Testing & Evaluation
The Quantum i12 system is tested using the organisation’s own colour samples.
Colours are recreated using the Quantum i12 technology in our laboratories.
This phase confirms that the system can match the required colour range and reproduce colours accurately before moving forward.
Proof of Concept
The system is introduced in the organisation’s own laboratory environment.
A selected product is formulated using the Quantum i12 Single Base System and tested together with the organisation’s existing colourants.
This confirms that the system works reliably within the organisation’s current colour system.
Ready to Go
Following successful validation, preparations are made for implementation.
This includes planning how the Single Base System will be integrated into production and tinting operations. Workflows and processes are defined to ensure a smooth transition. Manufacturers will continue to produce their paint, using the ingredients and process equipment they already have. Similar guidence is provided for retailers who outsource production.
By the end of this phase, the organisation is ready to introduce the system into real operations.
Launching
The system is introduced into production and retail environments.
Your organisation leads the rollout, supported by guidance from the Quantum i12 team.
Based on experience from earlier phases, recommendations are provided to support a successful launch.
The structured approach ensures that the system is introduced in a controlled and confident way.
Discuss Implementation
Every organisation has its own structure, processes, and requirements.
The Quantum i12 team works with manufacturers and retailers to evaluate how the system can be introduced within existing environments.
If you are interested in exploring how the Quantum i12 system could be implemented in your organisation, we invite you to start a discussion with our team.
